“We are creatures of habit and generally prefer the security of the status quo, but doing something different is a way of living creatively. In the midst of crisis, it’s a way of taking you to a beautiful place you never dreamed of going” ~ Daphne Rose Kigma
Is there a different path beckoning me? In a different place, you can look back at the past for what it is… the past. No one is stuck anywhere, with anything, or with anyone. When a door opens… it has opened for you. The draft may feel uncomfortable at first, but it soon changes to a fresh breeze, pulling you like a magnet to step through and breathe in the air.
We are so accustomed and comfortable with habit, all that we are use to day in and day out. When that is disrupted, what a dreadful place to be. The pain and discomfort delivered to us causes us to change, to think differently, to do things in a different way. What a realization! We don’t HAVE to do things the way we thought were right, or best. The Universe knows when things are not right for us, and will nudge us, polk us and finally knock us out of that crazy place we thought was so good for us. When we have no choice but to swallow that pill of change do we realize it really does make us feel better. It makes us look at who we really are without anything, or anybody to define us.
Stepping out, through the open door… feeling a new freedom to breathe and live like never before. Break from the ropes of routine and comfort that have held you captive for so long… Start with just one something… and do that one something different.
The Solar Plexus (navel chakra) is in charge of your sense of “self”. The fire of this chakra gives you the power to burn pessimistic aspects of the past and achieve the power to rule and direct your life effectively. It is of the color yellow.
