One of the most delightful practices I have adopted… letting go of what is not working for me!
“I am willing to let go of what isn’t working for me.”
I saw this in one of my readings and it struck me like a revelation! A message loud and clear! The one and only thing I really needed to know more than anything else. So I studied that sentence for a while. Left, and went back to it a few times. It felt so good to just read it.
I thought of all the things, the thougths, the actions and the people in my life that clearly were not working for me! I wondered what on earth am I holding on to these for? What a waste of energy!
Now I find myself in daily situations asking myself, “Is this working for me?” Answers are immediate! I love the practice!
Letting go of what is not working for us should be an ongoing practice. It’s a constant freeing yourself from strain. stress and unhappiness. It makes so much sense. When we won’t let go we are just beating ourselves up. It is a challenge to practice letting go of what is not working… but imagine what it would be like if we only put our energies into the things that ARE working for us!

“The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours – it is an amazing journey – and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.”

Life is awesome! Embracing and loving every moment!

So much good stuff coming lately… and it’s so welcomed!
“You must learn a new way to think before you can master a new way to be” ~Marianne Williamson
Change your thoughts and change your life. Amazing how it works once you find the right thoughts. Sometimes I wonder if it is just part of the process of transformation. You can try and try to change your thoughts, but find it impossible. Then one day all of a sudden you are thinking totally different with no effort at all. Where does this come from?
I still believe continuous body work is crucial for the mental to full spirit transformation. Since we carry so much crap in our bodies we must find ways to work that stuff out in order to clear the mind (which is located in every cell of our bodies) and spirit. This opens the channels for transformation. Reiki helps to balance and heal the chakra system, while deep tissue massage works to release the toxins that poison the cells of our bodies. Great way to clear out from the inside which directly affects all the outside stuff that imposes on us. This change feels so good!
In the quiet moments begin a meditation practice.
“If every eight year old in the world is taught meditation, we will eliminate violence from the world within one generation.” ~Dalai Lama
Three easy steps:
1. Begin by sitting with your feet on the floor (use other variations later).
2. Close your eyes and begin concentrating on your natural breath – in and out.
3. Every time you start thinking about something, acknowledge it, then bring your attention back to your natural breath – in and out.
Do this for as long as you like. It gets easier and easier. It changes everything!
In love & light~
One has to appreciate the challenges of yoga! When in the practice it holds you in the moment and nothing else matters. The best thing about it… it’s user friendly… you are completely in control~ body, mind and breath!
